San Diego Coffee Services offers commercial-grade reverse osmosis water filtration systems designed to meet today's high-volume point-of-use needs with high quality and exceptional value, independently tested and certified for performance, structural integrity, and water quality.
Examples of available products:
Vertex offers four and five-stage under-sink reverse osmosis filter systems specifically designed to reduce wastewater by up to 85%.
Both models use environmentally friendly, NSF and WQA certified Greenblock® filtration media that significantly reduces the carbon footprint compared to traditional carbon filters. The Greenblock filters contain eco-friendly coconut-shell Greencarbon™ that reduces harmful greenhouse gas emissions in the manufacturing.
The RO membrane removes an average of 95% of the dissolved solids from the incoming water while sending up to 85% less wastewater to the drain using its new Energy-Recovery-Valve.
The Green Machine Supreme fits under most sinks. It delivers clean, great-tasting water whenever you need it, eliminating the need for bottled water and the negative environmental impact associated with it.
The 5-stage system is designed to ensure water quality, membrane performance, and filter life where the incoming water contains a high amount of sediment, as in some well water systems. An extra pre-filter stage is added before the membrane. The design extends the time between filter changes.
Features:
The Five-Stage System makes up to 350 gallons of freshwater per day. Up to four high-capacity, RO membranes are used to provide the required water rate. It is supplied with a 14-gallon pressurized tank that holds 9-gallons of water. Two tanks may be used to increase the reserve to 18-gallons. The RO technology removes an average of 95% of the TDS. To further decrease the TDS, a de-ionizer cartridge can be installed as a post-filter option.
A booster pump is provided to produce a water pressure of 85 psi to the membranes. The pump is installed after the three pre-filters to reduce wear. A pressure switch in the line to the tank will turn on the pump when the tank pressure is 25 psi and off at 40 psi and is also adjustable. A 0-160 psi pressure gauge indicates the pressure to the inlet of the membrane. The overall duty cycle of the pump is 50%.
The unit can be wall-mounted or floor-standing with an optional stand. The stand is made of powder-coated steel and bolts to the underside of the bracket.
Built on a sturdy free-standing powder-coated steel frame, these use commercial-size RO membranes that typically remove 95% of the TDS. These systems are designed to handle up to 2500 ppm TDS, with an estimated 3-year life for the RO membrane. All models come with sediment and carbon pre-filters as a safety measure. Pretreatment is required by the user for the larger flow rates, and in the case of hard water.
